About Us
My name is Rhiannon Davis and my kennel is located in Neosho, Missouri, which is where I grew up. My family has raised dogs for over 25 years, and I have grown up with them my entire life. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help animals and raise dogs. I quickly fell in love with dachshunds and their boisterous, happy-go-lucky personalities, and began raising miniature dachshunds in 2020.
Our dogs are raised with lots of love and care, and I have the privilege of being able to call myself a preferred Good Dog breeder and an official AKC Bred With Heart breeder. We try to go above and beyond with the care we give our dogs, so they only get the best quality food and undergo regular basic training and enjoy time inside of our home. Our puppies are raised around other dogs, cats, and children, so they are well-socialised and perfect for every family's home!

My family and I love participating in conformation shows and AKC obedience training classes. We like to get involved in our community and continue our education through events as St Puppy's Day seminars, AKC Obedience Classes, and Pinnacle Pet tours. We take great care to produce the happiest and healthiest dogs that we possibly can through extensive health testing and socialisation. Every puppy is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and seen by our vet for a health clearance before going to their new home. I have loved having my dachshund family, and can't wait to add to yours!

We treat our pups like the loved family members that they are! Our newborn pups remain safe and sound in their whelping den, shared with their mom. Of course, mom gets let out frequently to stretch her legs, play with us, and potty. Our moms get extra special care during whelping, including being fed puppy food, extra grooming, and extra bedding in their whelping area for comfort.

In order to keep them safe, the pups are always confined to a small area, be it their whelping area, a play pen, the living room, or our fenced yard. The pups get to experience a multitude of different surfaces (from hard wood floors to real grass), meet other animals, hear new sounds (such as radio noises), are used to car rides, interacting with kids of all ages, and introduced to crate training by the time they go to their new homes. Our pups spend most of their time indoors playing with toys, my little cousins, and with each other.

Our program is recognised by the AKC as a Bred With Heart breeding program. This means we are constantly working towards improving the health of our adults and our puppies through extensive health testing! We are very proud to be one of the few dachshund breeders that performs health testing through the OFA, and NOT just genetic tests, which can often be unreliable.

My family and I have lifelong experience with animals, and especially dogs. I first began showing dogs (Shiba Inus) when I was 5 years old, but even before that, I had grown up with horses, cats, rabbits, and of course dogs. We are always focused on continuing our education so that we can give puppies the best possible lives. We frequently attend educational seminars, obedience classes, and kennel tours in order to stay informed. We have worked with the AKC, Protect The Harvest, St Puppy's Day, the MPBA, and Pinnacle Pet to stay educated!

We work hard to produce dachshunds that not only have the conformation and structure for the show ring, but also have the easy-to-train and friendly disposition needed for showing. We prove our dachshunds by showing them with the UKC, IABCA, and APRI. We have also attended AKC, ACA, and UABR shows! We have big plans whenever it comes to titling our pups, so stay tuned to see what shows and events we attend next!

Our puppies always come current on vaccinations, microchipped, with puppy registration papers, and with a health record from our vet.
