All of our dogs are registered with AKC. We strive for excellent quality. All of our dogs have health testing before breeding, and most have titles or come from show pedigrees. This page may not be up-to-date so be sure to reach out if you have any specific questions!

Our Dachshunds range from Miniature (8-12lbs) to "tweenie" (12-16lbs). Not all of our dachshunds are currently a part of our program -- some are too young, currently showing, or have not yet finished their health testing.

These dachshunds are not currently a part of our program, but likely will be in the future! Our ladies typically retire after 1-3 litters, so whenever that happens, these younger girls will 'replace' them in our program. Whenever our ladies retire, we will sometimes find them new homes.

The dachshunds featured here are either retired from our program, or are past puppies we've had who are now leading successful lives in their new family homes. While these dogs are not owned by us nor a part of our program, we are still very proud of them!

While we no longer breed Alice, he is still utilized in other breeder's programs. He is UKC pointed, APRI champion, and with all breed-recommended health testing completed.

Our breeding program is family-owned. I have a very large family and we all help out in one way or another. Whenever I am sick or away at dog shows, my sisters babysit the puppies for me. All of our dogs spend ample time in our home and outside, running in our 5-acre yard, playing with one another, playing with the grandkids, and in the summertime even swimming. Care is our number 1 priority -- and not just basic necessities, but ensuring our dogs have a fun, fulfilling, and active life, full of mental stimulation and physical activity. All of our dogs get time to socialise with each other, with other animals (namely cats), with the kids, and in public with strangers. All are leash trained and have basic, polite obedience. My dogs are a huge part of my life and an even bigger part of my family. We have more information on our website about raising our puppies, so take a moment to browse, and always reach out to me at witpdachshunds@gmail.com if you ever have any questions!
